This is the very first weblog for the day and to start things off, I will start nice and slow for the time being (also it is quite late). The question of humanity has made me wonder where we are truly going as a species. Here we are as humans, with the power to destroy ourselves and we constantly go from total destruction to peace. It seems that our journey is not yet complete because we have truly acheived neither. We've neither killed ourselves off completely, or reached total peace. Is it because of our many differences of oppinion, or is it just that as humans we are still too greedy to accept peace? We have come a long way and I do appreciate everything we have accomplished as a species. There is almost a sense of pride within me as a human. We have survived countless ages of war, constant years of trials and tribulations against our very own morals and yet we still manage to pull through, even if its just by a hair. Our species has a frightening potential to become many things and to do many things both good and bad. The weblogs to come will give people insight on what some of these options may be from my perspective. Perhaps some may even learn some tidbits of information from this weblog, and consider things they never thought possible.
